Privacy at KFIQ.
Last updated: 14 September 2026
KFIQ is operated by Cannock Private Limited. This page explains how information is used in KFIQ’s learning and employer services. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@kfiq.com.
What we collect
We collect your email, name, college, course, interests, and any goals you choose to share. Your account may also contain optional resume files, skills, education, project links, submissions, and programme feedback. Authentication and hosting services process technical information necessary to operate and protect the service. This includes authentication and request diagnostics. We retain account activity such as applications, submissions, hiring-brief changes, and introduction decisions to provide progress history, investigate errors, and protect accounts. These records are not used for advertising.
How we use it
We use account and programme information to verify access, match applications to projects, review your work, track progress, and issue completion records. Authorised programme staff can access the information needed for these activities.
Our service providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, and private file storage. Emailit delivers authentication emails. Vercel hosts the website. We use their services to run KFIQ. The application does not send resumes to a third-party parser or use an SMS or WhatsApp provider. We do not sell your personal information.
KFIQ apps and social sign-in
KFIQ Learn and KFIQ Hire share your KFIQ identity while keeping learner profiles and company ownership separate. Apple sign-in shares an identifier and the name and email or relay email you permit. We encrypt revocable Apple grants on the server and store iOS refresh credentials in the device Keychain. Android sessions are encrypted using the device Keystore and excluded from device backups. The apps do not request access to contacts, GPS location, camera, or microphone, and do not use advertising trackers. You choose each document through the system file picker. College and resume information are optional.
When you choose Google sign-in, Google shares a verified account identifier, name, email and basic profile information with Supabase to sign you into KFIQ. We request only basic sign-in scopes, not access to Gmail, contacts, Drive or other Google content. Google sign-in works for new and existing accounts and is separate from optional website analytics. You can review connected services in your Google Account.
Employer accounts and hiring services
We collect employer contact and company details, hiring briefs, scoped quotes, payment references, and hiring activity. Company owners can access only their own organization’s records. Authorised KFIQ staff review companies, prepare quotes, confirm bank transfers, and coordinate the service. The platform does not collect card details or bank login credentials.
Optional discovery and introductions
Learner discovery is off by default. If you opt in, KFIQ may share your name, chosen work profile, portfolio link, and valid certificates with verified employers for relevant paid roles. Private submissions, resume files, college records, phone numbers, and account email are not part of that work profile. Your account email is shared with a specific employer only after you accept its introduction request.
You can decline or withdraw an introduction, or turn off discovery in Opportunities. This removes further profile access and withdraws pending or accepted introductions. Information an employer already received cannot be recalled; contact KFIQ for help with a deletion request. Employers pay for hiring services, not unrestricted access to private learner records.
Reports and blocked accounts
When you report a concern, we store the introduction, reason, and details you provide so authorised staff can investigate. Blocking records the two accounts and withdraws their introductions. Unblocking does not restore contact consent. Reports and block lists are private and are removed with the related personal account.
Certificates you share
Someone with a certificate code or verification link can see the recipient name, completed programme, demonstrated skills, date, and certificate status. Contact us if you need a public verification record withdrawn. Private contact information and resume files are not part of the public certificate.
Your choices
You can edit profile information in your workspace. Resume uploads and profile enrichment are optional. In any KFIQ mobile app, open Account → Delete account to verify your identity and confirm deletion across KFIQ’s website and apps. This removes your personal profiles, learning records, private uploaded files, certificates, and discovery profile, and revokes linked Apple grants. You can also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing the team. We verify ownership before acting on a request.
Optional website analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits to KFIQ’s public pages and clicks to begin learning, begin hiring or contact us. It uses a cookie identifier and technical information such as browser, device and approximate location. We send public page addresses without query strings or fragments, and only the origin of external referring websites. We do not send names, emails, certificate codes, form contents, account IDs, work submissions or payment information.
Analytics starts only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It is not installed on sign-in pages, private workspaces, certificate verification pages or in our iOS and Android apps. Google signals, advertising personalisation and automatic form/link measurement are disabled. We use a two-month retention period for Analytics event data; aggregate reports may be retained longer. Google processes this information under its own service terms and may process it outside India. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Choose “Only essential” to continue without optional analytics. Your choice lasts up to six months on this browser. You can change it using “Cookie preferences” in the public website footer; withdrawing permission stops collection and removes KFIQ’s Analytics cookies. We honour browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Essential sign-in cookies are separate and are not affected.
Retention and cookies
We retain service and financial records while needed to fulfil the service and applicable obligations. We retain programme records while needed to provide the service and support certificate verification, subject to applicable obligations and deletion requests. Essential cookies keep you signed in and help protect your session. KFIQ does not currently use advertising cookies.
After account deletion, required financial records remain without an active account or hiring access, with a retention review after eight complete financial years. Records subject to a legal hold may need longer retention. A temporary deletion job is kept for retrying provider outages; completed job identifiers are removed after 30 days. Backups expire under our infrastructure providers’ retention cycles and are not used to restore a deleted account to active service.
Changes
We will update this page when the way the service handles information changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
